This work was an interpretation of the ancient forests where rocks and mosses and tree roots merge in a mass of 4 dimensional wonder…  The silence and long periods where nothing would move in these forests provided images of Megafauna which would sleep lazily then crash through the undergrowth after their next feast…

The eucalyptus was carved in Southern Tasmania.  The stumps of trees in the Meander area were remaining after 65 years since the last logging.   The Sculpture ‘Creature Being’ is fully intact after 11 years and will gradually decompose to resemble the skeletal remains of a mythical megafauna beast.
